For your information .tv is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the island nation of Tuvalu.
Tubalu has sold the right to use .tv to anybody willing to pay a fee to use it. Most Internet domain registration sites can see you a .tv site.

I would say .com most remembered.
When someone give me their e-mail, they just say; “someone@yahoo”
We assume the .com

no because since everyone is so used to typing “.com” they will remember your site, if your making one,and if u put “.tv” not many people will show up at your site

com is what most users know

Seriously, mosy networks use the .tv because that is what we relate it to… If you are not in television, then it might be hard to remember….

.tv is becoming more common, and is generally seen as more legitimate than other TLDs like .info. If the tv extension is appropriate, you should definitely go for it. .com is of course preferred, but .tv is more than acceptable for certain applications.

As far as hosting, it makes no difference what your domain TLD is. All hosts will treat it the same. I recommend DreamHost if your budget is very small.
